I’m not sure if you’re on the same e-mail chain I’m on, but in the notification email thread started by Hyatt (where they included dozens of reservation holders directly on the “to” line, leading to many reply-alls), some people have mentioned that cash reservations are still being honored, but not points reservations. Not sure if there’s anything to do about it or not. It’s definitely a bummer, my trip is in just two weeks so it’s quite short notice - altho not as bad as some people who would have had as little as two days of notice.
