The original Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown rebranded as the The Notary, Autograph Collection. I guess that opened up a slot for a Courtyard in Center City. I wonder if they will open a new Le Meridien property in Center City and continue the brand shuffle. I stayed at this property once or twice when it was the Le Meridien. I don't remember too much about the stays other than elite recognition was poor. At the time, the original CY, now Notary was my favorite downtown. The Notary and The Element are my current favorites. The rates at the new CY are reasonable and I will likely give it try during one of my upcoming trips.
