I understand that Turkish Airlines miles expire at the end of the third year after they are earned, but there seems to be conflicting information—some say they expire in December 2027, others say December 2028. Which is correct?

Looking at the award chart, I feel that the mileage rates for regular Award Tickets are not very competitive compared to other programs. On the other hand, the rates for Promotion Award Tickets seem much better, but I haven’t been able to find any available dates for these. What do you think about Turkish Airlines’ award rates? Has anyone here actually managed to book a Promotion Award Ticket?

Partner Award Availability:
This is my biggest concern. There are reports that it’s almost impossible to find Star Alliance partner award tickets using Turkish Airlines miles. Since I do not live in Turkey, I would like to use miles for partner airlines as well. Can anyone share their experience or insights regarding the practicality of booking partner award tickets with Turkish Airlines miles?
