I had a torturous business trip last year to a very remote part of Tanzania and ended up misconnecting at NBO. I missed my BA flight back to LHR by minutes so ended up spending the night in the lounge waiting for the morning Kenya Airways departure.

I think I was the only person in business class. The service was good and I was very well looked after, although I was fast asleep for most of the flight. I’d certainly take the saving and take KA again, for what it’s worth
