What I am recounting is a miscommunication based around the Globalist policy which didn't even apply to the man trying to order
When the customer tried to place a to go order he was told by the waitress "you can't do that" rather than saying there will be a charge for to go orders. It turned out he wasn't a Globalist or even a Hyatt member and thus would not even have a clue why he was denied.
The customer wasn't trying to get anything other than an order to go. If he'd been a globalist, the server's response would be correct for a free breakfast. As a regular customer it would seem like awful service.
The reason I posted my observations is because of how the globalist business is a complication for the servers to keep straight for themselves and the customers as well. Some globalists know the ropes and others have to be instructed.
Many people have so little clue about Hyatt or Globalist to even be aware if the server mistakes them for that affiliation.
