This is a neccessary evil these days. I'm not a big phone user and once got caught out at MAN trying to board a flight to HKG. My phone with evidence of the flight payment had 0 charge. So I ended up using the desk manager's phone to prove I really had paid for the flight! So in case anyone else is as clueless as me, make sure your devices are fully charged before travelling!
