I don't believe it's awful tbh. Many passengers attempted to exploit the system for their own financial gain at BA's expense. So, in this case, I am actually w/ BA.
On a different note, is the early bag storage located next to T5A, where the South Lounge is? I think that's where my AirTag signals when I spend hours in the B Gate lounge
