It looks like the Linder Oberstaufen leaves Hyatt this Monday - so we were notified with as little as 2 days of notice. My reservation is for mid-July.
The reservation is still active when I login to my Hyatt account, and reservations can still be made. Seems poorly handled to me.
I’ve read about things like this happening but in my thousands of hotel stays over the years, have never experienced it myself.
Dear Guest,
Thank you for your reservation at Lindner Hotel Oberstaufen.
Please note that as of June 30, 2025, this property will no longer be part of the Hyatt portfolio. From that date, World of Hyatt program benefits, including earning and redeeming points, will no longer apply.
We sincerely regret that, due to this transition, your reservation will no longer be automatically honored. However, if you would still like to stay at the hotel, you are welcome to rebook directly with the property at their current available rates.
Should you wish to proceed with this adjustment, please contact the hotel directly:
What a shame

. I was looking at staying here at some point in the future using points but alas it's not meant to be.
