Although the family with kids doesn't necessarily sound like the most egregious offender here, I'm of the opinion this lounge is far too small to have no age restrictions at all during evening cocktails. Of course it's their policy to set, but I'd think a rule along the lines of Westin KL's (no kids in the lounge after 7pm, so basically the 2nd half of evening service) would be sensible.
