737-700 aircraft it is - those planes have the larger overhead bins that are standard on the newer Boeings. 737-300 and -500 - maybe, maybe not. Those planes have an older style compartment that may or may not, depending on the length of the bag, allow it to fit that way.

Of course with Southwest there's really no way to know in advance which 737 version you will be on.
