If they get rid of SQM/SQS with SQD being the only requirement, it might actually help me to achieve a higher status without doing some absurd cross county multiple stops hop to meet SQS requirements. (I fly mostly between YYZ-YOW, I often hit SQD before SQM/SQS)

However, realistically we will probably see the same as what happened to BA, and moving the bar higher to spending based qualification for better or worse.
