I have to admit I hit a new low last night. After sitting in the ORD American Flagship lounge watching the delayed BA 294 push back and get stuck in the queue taxiing I wonder what would happen to us on the 298. Well - we obviously boarded late, then pushed back to get stuck in the taxiing queue and then the flight was rerouted due weather which meant we needed more fuel which meant that the crew would run out of duty time. So back to T5 to be kicked off, given a piece of paper which might as well said ‘good luck!’ And left to our own devices. Getting to the luggage carousel to find my bag had been off loaded early and was never even on the flight!

So head to a Marriot and call Gold Help line to speak to someone who then sorted me out for the following day to wake up today to find that we are now all back on a new BA1298 in the same seat.

my bag is still showing at T3 ORD thanks to my apple tag.

can’t wait for tonight’s fun and games.
