This can only be bad news. Unless it's horrible news.

Aeroplan already had probably a 90% drop in 75k cards / members compared to last year. By that datapoint it's too hard to earn status.

A YVR-YYZ one way can cost 1.1 million miles to redeem. Is that now too cheap? Or is 1.1 million too easy to earn?
