Flying Blue is the most generous program?

Fees make it less competitive vs United, but nowhere near as egregious as Lufthansa's offering, and the "price in points" remains lower than united.

Bought two roundtrip tickets to europe this summer with the program; the return leg in August in Air France premium economy. "Looking forward to it" might be a slight stretch, the there flights were 25k points each and the return 40k each or something (again, premium economy).

For the there flights I opted for the $113 economy comfort legroom upgrade. I don't see any option for upgrading to KLM's Premium Comfort for the there flight in a couple days. Regardless I probably wouldn't pay the premium. Is it worth asking at the airport?

Anyway, given the experience thus far I think I might align my credit cards more with the flying blue program - thus far only with the Capital One Venture card that I just cancelled and the citi strata thankyou card that writing this thread reminded me to cancel.
