I’ve also been next to a table during the happy hour, where 4 people were having a long business meeting, with, at time, heated arguments.
A family with a toddler and kids refusing to move to the other room where kids go.
Then, there are the guests that arrive in the lounge, while talking on the phone. Either they are too hungry to wait at the entrance to complete the call or their sense of importance is very high.
More and more, people use the speaker future of their phone to listen to news or video posts on the social media, not findîing convenient enough iPods or earphones.
You also have the guests that keep emptying glasses with alcohol and behaving like … they had too much to drink, being loud, sometimes vulgar, laughing at their own repeated jokes, putting a show on, etc …
Like all undesirable behavior, it continues because we tolerate it. Did you ask either the offenders or the lounge staff for assistance?
