On a side note, any insight as to how frequently an engine is fully replaced on a fleet? For example across the 777 fleet, is it realistic to think that numerous engines are changed / replaced each year for various reasons?
Pratt says the PW4090 is running at 13,500h average time on wing, so with the typical 777 flying maybe 4000h/yr and having 32ish PW4090 equipped ERs, you'd expect about 20 PW4090 engine swaps a year?
