You can buy an upgrade or apply miles or +Ps on LH-coded flights. These can be on 016 tickets. UA must convert the flights to have native LH flight numbers, codeshares don't work here.
Thanks to you (and Kacee). Also remind me, would changing the tickets from 016 to LH stock change PQP and earnings on UA? It shows LH as a preferred. All iof my years as a GS and 1K I never paid attention now I have to LOL
