I just crossed the mark within the past couple weeks. My understanding (assumption) is that like other 'granted' statuses it has no impact on 'earned' status... E.g. next year I anticipate my first $10,000 and 30 flights will essentially do nothing because of the "floor" status and I'll still need the $15,000 spend/45 flights and $22,000/60 flights to be Plat or to requalifiy for 1K.

I'd love to be wrong but I doubt UA is that generous.
