That's much better than I expected actually. Definitely a sweet spot of the program, if the upgrade availability is unlimited.

Given the YQ vs cash prices in Y, this seems to be the better use for the million miles. You essentially get 8* trips in J for the price of Y, as long as you don't mind Y on the EU feeder (which I also don't). (*7.5 but you also get some miles from the challenge flights themselves)

The only issue is a relatively limited validity of the miles, since thebonus validity for J turned out to be just a rumour.
