Wouldn't this get too expensive with all the longhaul one-ways?

My idea was to basically do two longhaul returns: One to Australia (covering Europe, Asia and Oceania, presuming there would be a stop on something like BKK on one of the journeys) and one openjaw to Americas (likely PTY/MEX). That would only leave Africa left, which I'd likely solve by adding an Istanbul stopover to one of the journeys and doing a day trip to somewhere like Cairo.

Alternatively, starting one (or both?) of the trips in Cairo could make things cheaper and cover Africa without that day trip.
