Never been to an airport that requires two people mover rides within the facility, let alone for a transfer. I frequently choose transfer points for ease and efficiency, like no security or the ability just to cross the same terminal building. The whole HK brand, including HKIA, is prized for efficiency, and this feels like...not that.
