Jet lag can really throw you off, especially with frequent long-haul trips like yours. I've found that adjusting my meals and sleep times before I fly can make a big difference. For example, a few days before departure, I try to slowly shift my schedule toward the destination time zone—eating and sleeping an hour earlier or later each day depending on the direction.
I also agree with you that flight timing matters. Personally, I prefer night flights going west (like Oslo to the U.S.), but I try to limit sleep on the plane to match the destination’s bedtime as closely as possible. Sometimes less sleep on the plane helps me adjust faster once I land.
Would love to hear others’ tricks too. Jet lag is the worst when you’re trying to make the most of limited time abroad!
