FWIW, AA is ending PHL-CPH a month early this summer. I honestly think this route would work better on an A321XLR versus a B788/B789.

My hunch is that AA adds more ORD-Europe to not lose more real estate in Chicago, as well as more European cities from PHL that wouldn't be too small for a widebody (I think something like Palermo or Dubrovnik fits this). There is also the question of whether AA can finish the B77W cabin remodel by Summer 2026.
