Yes. The KTN had been in my profile. I added my PP info a week or so ago, but it was not in there today. I added it and the site and app still give the same alert and the box is still grayed out. For my first CS call, the rep asked me for my KTN, as he could not see it on his system. My second call (1 hour total) was equally fruitless. I was told that if the unchecked me from tomorrow's flight, I might be prompted to opt-in to Touchless - but they are unable to uncheck me, even with a supervisor's approval. (Is that normal? So I'm out of luck for my flight tomorrow. As for the return flight, they said to just call them and they would make sure it is done. Given that I spent more than an hour without any change today, I don't think that's a realistic solution that I'm willing to gamble on.
Yeah, if your KTN and Passport info is in there (and all names, including your AA profile match), not sure what's happening, but your passport info disappearing is a big read flag, IMO. And I have been unchecked in from flights before. If you have time, you might try twitter/x and see if they can uncheck you. But if agent can't see your KTN, did you get precheck on your current BPs?
