There is an Admin comment there stating as follows:
Good news from Chase for whoever this happened to. They tell us: “Confirming that if the person would like to keep the card open, then we will make sure they know they’ll be eligible for the new cardmember bonus.”
All those people originally withdrew their applications because they were told they can't get the SUB, but now that they can get it they should be good to go and be happy that they got auto approved without waiting for a review and/or calling reconsideration line.
