Personally I do not see why anyone would waste Chase UR points booking through the Chase portal unless you have more points than you can use. I have only a finite supply of Chase UR and prefer to transfer to UA and Hyatt where I can often get .03-.04 value. YMMV
I can get 3 cpp on Hyatt sometimes, most of the time it's 2 cpp. I can't get anything that good on UA anymore. Most UA redemptions fall in the 1-1.5 cpm range. Even if I can get a J saver award on occasion, I can almost never get a pair of them, so UA miles are becoming less and less valuable and will soon be 1 cpm across the board, just like DL.
