BA always did this when LHR had major disruptions, made it so easy.
Yes they should absolutely be doing that and it is odd they aren’t. They should currently have two goals: get everyone in Doha who shouldn’t be there, out; and get everyone not in Doha who needs to be somewhere else to their final destination without going through Doha. Operationally that should mean operating what they can out of Doha, filling their planes out and flying them back emptyish with only DOH terminating pax.
Shutting down the operation is not going to help achieve the first objective in any way.
