Flew from CDG on 2E in Y cabin today in the afternoon. It was nice seeing them installing new X-rays on the right side; those where you don't have to take out anything.
Went from check-in to airside within 10-15 minutes using the SP lanes, and the terminal was quite empty.
No e-gates were open, but there weren't any lines for SP. At every checkpoint, it's the same queue as eco, but I was just cutting in front of them.

The only downside of those new X-rays for me is that they seem to be a bit slower, and if you start putting your luggage towards the end of the counter, it takes a while for them to pass due to new people pushing their trays onto the belt. (if that makes sense)
