Ok a tad different situation as this has never happened to us before. Our player 3 is my dad who does not travel and we use his points, he had 3 open Chase business cards and was denied another card and I figured it was the 3 business card max many are seeing lately.

I cancelled his 3rd business card and applied again about a 6 weeks later for an INK card he has never had and he was denied.

The letter said they suspected fraud and denied the application, I may has mistyped something or maybe it was because I applied at work vs our usual home internet, etc, etc

They said he can call fraud so I'm trying to figure the best way to play this as I don't want my 85 year old dad drilled with questions but wonder if he should call just so say it was him who applied, verify who he is and say he will apply again online.

I believe options are,

1. Ignore it and just apply again from home in a couple months or so.

2. Have him call and verify it was him but ( if it's even possible) not reopen the application as I want to make sure I get my 20K referral points and I don't want him drilled with startup business questions..

Any other ideas ?
