Improbable. Before the DL/NW, UA/CO, AA/US mergers there was surplus capacity in USA airline operated lounges, and many of them accepted Priority Pass at some locations. I do not see that the airlines have any motivation now to allow lounge access other than through their established co-brand partners.
Priority Pass added the restaurant feature after losing access to US-based airline-operated lounges. They also started opening more of their own The Club lounges (though a related company.) Now that American Express, Capital One, and Chase have opted out of the restaurant feature, I think Priority Pass needs to be looking at another approach in the USA market.
