Agree, you could as I suggested hit the cancel button in manage by booking and then have a conversation about the refund later if it's processed under the original fare rules and not the current customer policy.
On that subject, I attempted to cancel my booking for a flight scheduled tonight as I found an alternative plan. I received an email that my refund request has been submitted but the booking still appears on my account. Anything else I should be doing? Just want to make sure it's properly cancelled.
