Absolutely agree with the above sentiment, while standing in the same queue in the Al Mourjan lounge. A queue of 30-40 people is taking 3 hours and counting, and I still have at least 10+ travellers in front of me in queue.

I heard from those who ventured out and came back said transit desks have 500-600 people queueing.

Very little flights have been departing this morning. And yes coming in there are so many planes parked at terminals that’s not moving. A lot of planes done even have gates yet.

A simple matter of auto rebook or having agents waiting when you disembark for next flight (something CX can do very well, and BA sometimes can do), not sure why QR as best airline is unable. They have 3 people only at the lounge desk working on the transfers.

They do not have things under control.

This is the queue I’m talking about. It looks short but it’s taking 3+ hours.
