LHR - KUL (BA33)

New poster so don't think I can post pictures yet (thank you to everyone on this forum for your advice and reviews, it is truly an incredible resource)

Full cabin of 8.

Grand Siecle champagne served pre departure, a slight downgrade on the Cuvee Louise in CCR to my taste. But they appeared to have plenty of bottles loaded.

The food supply on the other hand left a lot to be desired in a status heavy 1st cabin (cabin manager said it was entirely GGL and Gold).

Only 2 lobsters loaded for cabin, so my wife didn't get her first choice of starter or main. Cabin manager wrote feedback down and said it was unacceptable and I observed it rather defeats the purpose of "on demand" if you can't order what you'd like). This has happened on last 3 trips in first too.

Beef main was tough but not unusual in my experience with the beef on BA. Skipped cheese and dessert. Had the French red which was OK but tasted like it was about to be beyond its best. South African Pinot a little thin for my taste. The Don Julio 1942 is the best thing on board in my opnion if you like good spirits.

Slept for around 4hrs which is good for me. Skipped the cooked breakfast and had the yogurt and fruit platter since breakfast is served at about 3pm KL time (around 2hrs before landing).

Good, friendly crew although was woken up by one of the crew who was trying to turn my flight map off (not happened before so don't know if this is a common procedure).
