Either BA determines a destination is safe to fly to, or not. I can totally understand risk avoidance and not currently flying to specific airports. However, I do not understand how given a safety-based determination to reduce frequency of flights to a specific destination that passengers no longer wishing to travel on flights not cancelled are not given the option to cancel.
Have they not just reduced the number of flights through lack of demand rather than safety reasons?
