The best QR flight to Harare is the flight that stops in Lusaka 1st. Proflight is a very good airline in Africa and I've never heard a bad thing about them, plus I've flown them many times. The reviews for airlines based in Zimbabwe are generally not consistently very good. Can't imagine why. Maintenance or parts maybe? Zimbabwe has a hard currency issue. That could ruin a safari out of the gate, being stuck in Harare. This is only my opinion. Getting to Vic Falls is really easy. An experienced traveller would figure it out. Just go with the flow. The link shows where the immigration/customs buildings are in both countries. i've always managed to have my taxi driver wait and then ferry me to next building across the bridge, without taking the luggage out of the taxi. In your case, luggage would come out in the zim side where you would go thru immigration and then grab a Zim taxi to take you to your hotel. I must have crossed both directions 30-40 times in the past. Things change, but the above has been my experience. I know, its not current.
