I know I have used them up and down the West Coast as no other airline offers the choices Southwest does.
It is too early too tell. I mean the enhancements have only been brought in over the past couple of weeks, and only for those who booked recently. At the same time, summer tends to a busy travel season particularly for leisure travel. I would say, give it a few months for people to experience the Southwest effect and make changes in how they book. If customers are seeing that Southwest provides the same benefits as flying Spirit or Frontier, yet the latter charges a fraction of the cost, they'll be switching.
