Today was the first time since the changes I cancelled a flight as a companion. I paid the $5.60 tax with a nonexpiring credit I had and the $5.60 was returned as a credit with a 1 year expiration date from time of the purchase. The companion pass holder purchased a Basic Fare with points. On Weds will be seeing how the free bag works for cardholders when the companion but not the pass holder has a SWA credit card.
