Does it say that somewhere on the TSA website? Because the last time I got secondary because I did not remove my shoes (Keds-type tennis shoes with paper-thin soles), the screener took them off and ran them through the x-ray without even wanding them. I had to request to remain seated while she did this - after all, the sole
purpose of not removing them was so I didn't have to stand on the floor in my socks.
