I used to buy PE fares to EU on Business since we were not allowed to purchase Business Class. I would then upgrade using my Plus Points (when I was 1K). But PE fares were only $300-$400 more than lowest Economy fare. There is no way I would pay $2000 for PE to EU. I now search for the best Business Class airfare (on airlines with good Business Class) for all long haul flights.
