I was on the fence before the price increase - I figured this was going to be a one year trial to see if I wanted to keep the card, but the coupon book mentality is ridiculous.

I’ll be curious about the Phoenix Sapphire lounge but given the crowding it’s hard for me to value it at anything significant. Same with the Edit and the Sapphire Reserve tables (I don’t usually go out for many fancy meals anymore since I cook at home).

I’ll be looking to cash in for Hyatt Points or the 1.5 cents per point (since that offer is good until 2027). And to highlight (for me) how silly it is to spend $75K on the Sapphire - on the Hyatt, it would be worth 35 EQN (5 for the card, 30 for the spend, not including the free nights).

I’ll probably go with a mix of Costco Visa, Chase Hyatt, and a 2% cash back card - until Hyatt ends up being a poor option for me.
