Ya I’m not 100% but I don’t think the separate ticket matters. Seems like that’s leas of an issue these days. I recall a few ppl saying AS agents seemed to not know or understand that a OW J international same day for you in. Or maybe they don’t know how to do a system override/enter it manually.
I know AS requires the frequent flyer number to be the one on your reservation, so you can't credit to one program and use OWS/OWE status from another program, so I just had it in my head that they're stricter.
