Somehow on the backend the Companion is linked to the original booker, evident by the system knowing you cant change the original booking while it has a companion booking associated. So if the booker has a CC, the companion should be GTG. But I could see it not working in the other direction
Does anyone know if this has been verified? -- the Companion has a different "reservation" (e.g. 6 digit number), but as noted, the Companion's reservation is clearly linked to the primary traveler for various purposes.
Same question for A-list and their CP Companions.
