AC meals on widebody and narrow body domestic are about the same thing. I've never had trouble with AC food........other than that nasty grilled cheese on a short haul flight last month.
I have actually enjoyed some of the grilled cheeses I have had - I was shocked that is was as good as it was. Just had another one yesterday.
