Other than the ability to retain my remaining PQPs with no expiration date, is there any benefit to keeping the Presidential Plus anymore (over the "New United Club" Card)?
If you are referring to Flex PQP, it is my understanding that those points, once earned, are yours to keep; you can discontinue the Pres Plus card without affecting your Flex PQP point balance.
