Thanks! Are they regular meals or special meals? I'm curious to know what the bland ones are. They look tasty, probably because they are spicy!
Just used SQ's chatobot, sorry, AI Bot and got this response:A Bland Meal on Singapore Airlines is designed for passengers who require easily digestible food, typically avoiding strong seasonings, spices, and fried foods. While the exact menu can vary, a typical Bland Meal may include:
- Boiled or steamed white rice or potatoes
- Grilled or poached chicken or fish (unseasoned or lightly seasoned)
- Steamed vegetables (such as carrots, zucchini, or green beans)
- Plain bread roll
- Simple dessert like stewed fruit or plain jelly
These meals are prepared to be gentle on the stomach and are free from rich sauces, fried items, and strong flavors. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know so we can assist further.
I want to avoid fish, because if I have to have fish, it's got to be crumbed and fried so I can't taste that it's fish!!
My current choices are
Chicken Curry "Kapitan" or Pan Fried Prawns. I can do prawns. Yes I know they are seafood, but it's fine.
Scrambled Eggs or Mie Ayam Jamur - is the later spicy? I'd rather the noodles to the eggs.
Then
Fish Arribbiata, Black Pepper Chicken or Paneer cooked in spices - All three would be things I should avoid - if indeed they are spicy.
Pizza bars. The fats will probably trigger something even if it's not spicy!
I think I may risk the bland option for the 2nd leg and see what turns up! I'll have a feed in SIN hopefully.
