Just also hit lifetime plat and it was immediately reflected in the app. No recognition in the hotel but I'm not sure if they see it. Kind of a bummer that there is no higher level. Given the devaluations of the program I might scale down my stays with Marriott and not hit Titanium again next year. I'm already almost Titanium this year so will probably hit it organically.
