« Thank you for contacting us regarding your upcoming journey from Paris. We sincerely apologize for the schedule change that has affected your onward plans. Please be assured that we will cover the cost of your overnight accommodation in Athens. You are kindly requested to arrange your own accommodation and then forward the receipt of payment along with your bank details (including IBAN, account holder’s name, and residential address) so we can proceed with the reimbursement. Kindly note that AEGEAN will contribute up to €80 for hotel expenses and €30 for meals. Additionally, we will cover the cost of your transfers between the airport and the hotel. Please also provide respective receipts for the above as well. Thank you for your understanding. Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. »

Quite amazing. It looks like Aegean does not have a consistent policy regarding IROPS.

@giorginho Thanks for the advice of getting in touch with the customer service to claim compensation. I will let you know how it works out in the end.
Very interesting. Last year I got quoted something different. It seems that hotels got cheaper :

Thank for your time. We have confirmed the change. Though, our colleagues are not in the position to book accommodation for you; I apologize. Kindly book a double room up to 130-150 euros and we will reimburse it with the receipt here, along with the taxi transportation.
