All too confusing to me. . Thanks everyone for all the analysis. My decision is to drop CSR on renewal and drop my Venture X on renewal.

Recently got the BofA Visa and have already met the SUB so the card for the 1st year is essentially free whilst getting 4 PP memberships that still have the restaurant benefit.

Will use Amex Gold or Amex cash back depending on the category. I use MaxRewards so any "coupon" redemption happens by chance but it does happen!
