I'm not sure this is true anymore -- I received a 6-month Cat 1-4 award the day my initial 5 nights from the personal card posted, even though I only got that card in May and I haven't yet hit the 15k spend threshold. I agree that the terms for the card indicate I shouldn't get one until next year, but...it's sitting in my account, so I don't know what to say.
