Unlike outstations, where SK only contracts lounges for their own elites, SAS and SkyTeam lounges accept all STE+ elites - I use the CPH one all the time. It's hard to know what happened in the case of your wife, but since you mentioned you were rebooked from AY, maybe it's related to the reprotection agreement SK/AY have (e.g. excluding status perks)?
